On Renovate, Don't Relocate

Both our Mirror IR Panels and Quartz Glass IR Panels are now equipped with built-in thermostats and bundled remotes out of the box, letting you control them with ease whilst getting the most out of them.

Below, you’ll find a breakdown of everything your Mirror/Glass Remote can do.

#1: Pairing Your Panel With Your Remote

First off, you’ll need 2 x AAA batteries. Place them into your remote, and then press the On/Off button in the centre of the remote.

Power on your IR panel, and make sure that the remote override switch at the back of the panel is set to Off - if the switch is glowing green, you’ll need to turn it off.

Now, on your remote, hold down the Plus and On/Off buttons together for three seconds. You’ll hear a long beep coming from the panel. This means the panel is now paired to the remote.

#2: Switching Your Panel On & Off

Use the On/Off button in the centre of the remote to switch the panel on.

You’ll hear a short beep when it’s on.

Press it again to switch your panel off.

#3: Tweaking Your Target Temperature

Press the Plus button at the top of your remote to increase your target temperature by 1 degree. To turn your target temperature down, use the Minus button at the bottom of the remote.

Your panel will begin emitting heat if the target temperature is higher than the current room temperature. It will then switch off when the target temperature is lower than the current room temperature.

The LED indicator at the back of the panel will indicate what the panel is doing at any given moment - if the LED light is red, that means it is emitting heat, and if it’s off, this means it isn’t emitting any heat.

#4: Locking/Unlocking The Remote

Press and hold the On/Off and Minus buttons for three seconds to lock your remote.

When it’s locked, you’ll see a small padlock icon at the top of your remote screen.

You can press and hold the On/Off and Minus buttons again for three seconds to unlock your remote.

#5: Switching Between Celsius & Fahrenheit

Press the Plus and Minus buttons together to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
