The 1.2kW EQ Heat Electric Table Top Patio Heater Black is a simple to use and semi-portable outdoor heater, condensing a lot of modern technology into a small, practical package that is ideal for placement on top of an outdoor dining table, or in a garage if you’re working on a project!
Perfect for warming up to six people, this heater can provide warmth to an outdoor area equalling about 15m². Weighing only 3kg, it’s easy to pick this heater up and move it where you need it most.
The key feature of this heater is how it oscillates, with a 360° turning angle and a 120° heating angle. This ensures a wide spread of heat, and creates a more pleasant and naturalistic feel than most other outdoor heaters are capable of providing.
You can also choose between two distinct temperature settings, with one using 600w of power, and the other unleashing the full 1200w. This lets you adapt to your comfort level, and means you don’t have to choose between a binary setting.
An IPX4 rating ensures that this heater is splash proof, meaning it can safely be used outside during rain. However, we’d recommend bringing it under shelter, or entirely indoors, when it is not in use. This will help extend its lifespan.
For extra safety, this heater is manufactured from non-hot touch floss metal mesh exterior finish. It also features a protective net over the bulb, further reducing the risk of burns due to accidental contact.
Can IR Heating Save Me Money?
Patio heaters are, traditionally, seen as a bit of an extravagance, costing too much to run to be practical. However, this is usually because people are used to older convection heaters, as opposed to more efficient IR heating. What’s the difference between the two, and why is an infrared heater so much better for your wallet?
A convectional heater functions by heating water that then heats the air around it. This causes the warm air to rise to the top of your room while cool air sinks. This continues a cycle, warming the room.
Unfortunately, this process is very inefficient. Your heater is wasting a lot of energy reheating the same old air. It also takes a while to kick in, meaning you’re burning power without feeling the benefits.
IR heaters release infrared radiation, which is a perfectly safe and natural form of energy that our bodies can happily absorb. This warms us up instead of heating the energy around us, cutting out the middle man and helping you to feel warm and toasty as soon as the heater is turned on!
All in, this means you can save as much as 60% on your heating bills!
Zero Maintenance
One amazing feature of IR heaters is that they require very little maintenance, because they don’t need to move various components to generate heat. That means they’re under far less strain compared to older heaters, which is why many of them boast lifespans that could last as long as 30,000 hours.
Once they’re installed all you need to do to keep them running is occasionally wipe them down to keep them dust-free!
You also won’t need to worry about frozen pipes or bleeding radiators, once you’re plugged in you’re ready to go!
Take The Plunge With No Risk
Our heaters come with a free 14-day trial period, giving you plenty of time to test your heater and decide if it works for you. There’s zero risk attached, so you can take a chance on revolutionising your home without stress.
Not only that, we also offer a fantastic 2-year warranty policy, freely extendable to 5 years at no extra cost if you fill out a simple form.
Please note that there will be an additional 5-7 day lead time on this heater from when you place your order, as this is a special order item.
