Our 1000W Titan High Power 600x600 Infrared Heating Panel is unlike anything you’ve ever seen in the infrared space.
Built and manufactured right here in the UK, they somehow manage to squeeze 1000W of infrared heat into a small 600 x 600mm sized panel, making it a great choice for areas that are very large and/or cold!
Ordinarily, a 600 x 600mm panel would use around 350W of energy, whereas our Titan panel manages approximately THREE times more than that, putting into perspective just how much each you’re getting from a panel this size.
With that said, there are some caveats to our Titan range.
First off is that this panel has to be installed on the ceiling, and should not be installed on the wall. This is the case for the entire Titan High Power range. As they emit much higher levels of heat too, they should be used in spaces with higher ceilings too.
Secondly, is that this panel should only be hardwired directly to your mains supply. It will not be supplied with a 3-pin plug, and should not have a plug connected to it prior to installation.
As the Titan range have no built-in thermostat, we'd recommend using a timer with it, so that you have some control over how long it's on for.
When it’s all said and done however, this 1kW Titan heater emits loads of warmth from a very small sized panel, making it a brilliant option for commercial spaces like offices and warehouses, as well as domestic areas like conservatories and garages.
Our 1000W Titan IR Panel sits in the middle of the range.
One step down is our 750W Titan High Power IR Panel. To the untrained eye, it looks identical to our 1000W Panel, however it uses slightly less energy, making it a better option for slightly smaller spaces.
However, one step in the other direction takes you to the 1500W Titan High Power IR Panel. Again, this looks exactly the same as the other panels in the range, but somehow, miraculously, emits 1500W of infrared heat from a 600 x 600mm sized panel!
Infrared is a different beast compared to convection heating. The primary difference is that infrared heats you directly - much like the sun does - whereas convection heating heats the air, which is how you feel warm.
This means a few things in terms of benefits.
First is that the heat is being emitted directly to you, instead of passing through the air, which means less heat wastage and higher efficiency in the transfer of energy. IR heaters therefore don’t need to work as hard to make you feel warm, which means lower bills for you.
Infrared is also better for your health too. Convection heat spreads dust and germs throughout your space, whereas IR does no such thing. On top of that, IR also helps with bloodflow as it penetrates the skin by up to 3 inches, loosening the artery walls.
And to make things even better, IR panels require zero servicing or maintenance, as they have no moving parts. In the event that something does go wrong, replacing your IR panel costs a fraction of the price of replacing your boiler.
All Titan IR Panels come with a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee.
If you change your mind soon after your purchase however, you are welcome to return it for a full refund or exchange within 14 days, as long as the panel is in resellable condition, with original packaging and accessories.
As infrared requires a different way of thinking to conventional heating, in terms of how you’d effectively set up a room, it is worth speaking to our team of experts, who have quoted thousands of projects over the years.
