Our stunning 600 x 600 Waterfalls Printed Infrared Heating Panel helps bring you closer to nature – both in its form and its function.
The panel, measuring 595 x 595 x 22mm, features a aluminium surface, reaching temperatures of up to 115°C. Don’t be alarmed however – due to the way the aluminium surface distributes its heat, it is still safe to touch.
Printed on the surface is a beautiful, tranquil image of a gushing waterfall, cascading down a small cliff face – arguably beating anything manmade in the terms of sheer spectacle.
The amazing, nature inspired imagery makes it perfect for use in a living room or a hallway, on a wall where a framed picture would normally go.
After connecting to your 230v mains supply, it fires out 350W of clean and natural infrared energy, heating all the objects in the room in which it’s been placed.

What Is Infrared Heat?
Infrared is a type of electromagnetic radiation, existing on the same spectrum as x-rays, visible light and radio waves among others.
Whilst x-rays are used for medical CT scans, and radio waves are used for communication, we feel infrared waves as heat – it’s the same type of heat that the sun emits!
It works by heating objects instead of the air, which is how convection heaters work. The sun itself actually provides a good way of understanding how infrared heat works.
When the sun emits IR heat, it travels unimpeded until it hits our planet and is absorbed by our atmosphere, and re-emitted back out – it only provides heat once an object absorbs the energy and feels the heat. This explains why space is so cold, yet our planet is warm.
Now apply this to a smaller scale, substituting the sun for an infrared heating panel, and the celestial bodies around it for objects and people in a room.
The panel will have marginal effect on the air around it, but heats surface temperature of the objects in the room. This in itself has a number of advantages.
Infrared Panels Use Less Energy
Because IR heaters don’t heat the air, but instead warm up the objects around them, they use less energy than electric convection heaters.
This is because volume of space requires more energy to heat up compared to surface area.
They’ll even use less energy compared to gas powered central heating systems, despite the cheaper price of gas.
This is because when you switch a central heating system on, the boiler provides heat for the entire house, even if no one is occupying the rooms. IR panels are controllable individually, so they only provide heat for the room that you’re in, saving you on unnecessary heating costs.
IR Heaters Are Better For Your Health
We’ve already spoken about how infrared heat is natural – it’s the same type of heat emitted by the sun. This has a direct impact on your wellbeing.
Convection heaters cause the air to circulate, spreading dust, mites and germs, causing problems for those with respiratory conditions.
Warm air also absorbs and carries moisture. On a much larger scale, this is actually how storm clouds are formed. In your home however, this can cause dampness on your walls.
Infrared heaters don’t cause these problems, as they don’t affect the air around them.
Our Panels Are Hidden And Discreet
One particular attribute of infrared panels that our featured item highlights is how well they blend in with their surrounding decor. Mounting the panel onto your wall makes it look as if it’s a printed image framed on a wall.
People who see it who are none the wiser wouldn’t look at it and think it’s a means of providing heat. What this also means is that your entire floor space is free – you don’t have to worry about blocking panels with sofas or book shelves.
If you’re unsure of how many infrared panels you need for any given room, we’ve prepared a guide on how to buy IR heating panels, that tells you how to calculate how many watts you need for any given room.
