On Renovate, Don't Relocate

Controlling your Athena heater is easy with the included remote control This quick guide will teach you all the shortcuts you need to get things up and running.

Before You Start

You’ll need to make sure your heater is actually a remote-control model. Luckily, it’s easy to tell. If your heater came with a remote control and features an LED screen, you’re good to go.

If your heater doesn’t have both of these things, then it’s unfortunately not remote control enabled.

Switching Your Heater On

Use the On/off button to switch your heater on. The LED screen will light up straight away. To turn your heater off again, just tap the same button.

Adjusting Your Target Temperature

Press the Temperature button on your remote, then the up or down arrows to adjust your target temperature. You can adjust the target temperature in one-degree increments.

Choosing The Right Power Level

Pressing the high/low button on your remote will let you choose between one of four power levels: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. This will alter how many watts your heater consumes, so it’s a great choice if you want a less intense heat.

Set A Timer

Press the timer button on your remote and you’ll see a flashing 00 on the LED screen. You can now use the up or down buttons to set the length of time your heater will be on for. This can be set in increments of one hour, up to 24 hours in total.

To confirm the timer, just leave the heater alone for a few moments.

Locking & Unlocking Your Bar Heater

Press Set and then Child Lock to lock your bar heater. A lock symbol will appear on the display. Repeat the process to unlock your heater.

Toggle The Display

Press the Set button twice on your remote twice to turn off the display. The heater will stay on, while the display will turn off. To turn the display back on, just tap the set button again.

Turn On The Motion Sensor

Press Set and then Up on your remote. A small person icon will appear on the display, which will let you know this feature is active. To turn it off again, just repeat this process.
