Measuring 1240mm by 150mm, this 1.8kW heater is capable of heating a space up to 28m2 but with a depth of only 67mm it won’t stick out from your wall too far, creating a much sleeker look compared to other similarly powerful heaters.
With an IP44 rating, this heater is protected from splashes of water. We highly recommend that if installed outside you ensure it is given adequate cover to protect it from heavy rain. For a more water-resistant outdoor heater, check out the 2.4kW Athena heater instead.
Please note that the advised heated areas are for guidance only. For a more accurate heated area that is more relevant to your home, please speak to one of our Customer Services advisors about your room.
When using this heater with a standard 13A socket, we recommend hard wiring the heater directly to the mains supply.
We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor, with a clearance of at least 30cm all around the bar heater.
Saving Money With Infrared
A powerful heater like this one could have a big impact on your heating bills, but the fact that this heater uses infrared heat means it can actually help you save money in the long term!
Electric heaters are generally expensive to run, but infrared heaters specifically use radiant heat as opposed to convection heating. Simply put, this means they heat objects directly instead of warming the air around you, which is much faster. You don’t have to run an infrared heater nearly as long as you would a traditional electric heater.
Infrared is also a lot easier to manage compared to a traditional radiator, which makes them a great option if you’re looking to heat individual rooms as opposed to the whole house. They’re also much less impacted by poor air flow or draughts, so they’re a great choice for rooms that otherwise could never be effectively heated, such as garage conversions or conservatories.
If you’re worried about how a heater this powerful could impact your heating bills, we’re here to unpack the finer details and help you understand why you could actually find yourself saving money by switching to IR heating!
Easy Installation
You can easily install this powerful heater on your wall and well out of reach of prying hands for maximum safety as well as maximised heat spread.
All you need to do is drill into the wall, then screw the two rear mounted brackets included with your purchase into those holes. These brackets are adjustable, so you can direct the heat to your liking.
While for long term use, we’d recommend having an electrician hardwire your heater into your mains, it does come with a plug, meaning it’s really simple to try it out and experiment.
Your heater is also really easy to maintain, with an occasional dust being all that’s needed to keep it looking brand new.
We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor.
A Guiding Light
At a glance, there’s not a lot of cues telling you your heater is on. It doesn’t produce loads of bright light, and it won’t make much noise. To keep things a lot simpler without compromising on the style of this heater we include a simple LED indicator to let you know what’s happening.
If the LED is red and glowing, your heater is active and you can rest assured that your heater is doing what you want it to.
Superior Build Quality
We thoroughly test all of our heaters to make sure they reach quality and safety standards, but we also go the extra mile to ensure they’re of as high a quality as possible.
This is why we construct them from premium aluminium, which serves as the perfect thermal casing to protect your heater from its own high temperatures. This reduces strain on the heater, making it more efficient and improving its life expectancy.
If you were look inside your heater, you’d also find whole piece ceramic fibre, for better insulation and thermal efficiency. We even use the highest quality T-type screws to ensure they don’t loosen and warp from heat exposure over time.
Returns Built Around You
Not certain if infrared heating is for you? Our heaters come with a free 14-day returns period, giving you plenty of time to test your heater and decide if it works for you. There’s zero risk attached, so you can take a chance on revolutionising your home without stress.
Not only that, we also offer a fantastic 2-year warranty policy, extendable to 5 years at no extra cost!
