How Do The Thermostats Control The Heating?
Whether it is wireless or a wire thermostat, each unit does the same thing. There are varying technical details that may swap you from one to another e.g. Mobile Phone App functionality. The wiring for each is slightly different however.
Wired controllers have a hardwired input allowing them to control the temperature and switch the heater on and off from the same location. Obviously, this requires you to have wiring around your house going from the controller directly to your panel.
Wireless controllers on the other hand operate the same way as a wired controller but with one major difference. The surface mounted thermostat emits a signal to receivers on the same frequency. This means that you can control a huge range of panels at any given time.
