Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Heating Panel With Remote - 600-1400W

    • Combines infrared and convection heating for comfortable, well-distributed warmth
    • Remote control makes it easy to adjust temperature and heating settings
    • Ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and flats
    • 600W–1400W options provide flexible heating for different room sizes
    • Slim frameless design offers a modern alternative to bulky traditional heaters

The Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Heating Panel With Remote fits into everyday spaces like bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and smaller flats where you want steady warmth without anything bulky taking over the room.

Available in a range of wattage options from 600W to 1400W, you can choose the heat output that best matches your space while enjoying the same blend of infrared and convection heating. It’s chosen by homeowners looking to modernise their heating, renters who need something practical and flexible, and landlords wanting a simple upgrade that adds real comfort to a property without disruption.

It works by blending infrared and convection heating, so warmth builds in the air while also spreading through the room’s surfaces. The result is a space that feels evenly heated rather than patchy or slow to respond.

The remote gives you simple, intuitive control over your heating without needing to reach the panel itself. With just a few buttons, you can switch the unit on or off, adjust the temperature, set timers, and choose different heat settings depending on how the room feels. It uses a reliable wireless connection, so it responds quickly from across the room, making it easy to fine-tune warmth without interrupting what you’re doing.

    Why Infrared Heating Saves Energy

Infrared heating works in a more direct way than traditional systems because it warms objects and surfaces in the room. That means you feel the heat sooner and more naturally, almost like standing in sunlight on a clear day where warmth settles on your skin and surroundings at the same time.

Because the heat goes straight to you and the things around you, comfort is achieved using far less wasted energy. In many cases it can use up to 60% less energy compared to convection heating while still delivering a similar level of warmth.

That lower energy demand also makes it a strong match for homes using solar panels, where efficient electricity use matters.

    Smarter Heating With Infrared

Instead of constantly heating and reheating the air in a cycle, infrared delivers radiant warmth that goes straight to people and objects. You feel it quickly and deeply, almost as if the heat is reaching you rather than filling the space around you first.

That shift in how heat is delivered means less wasted energy trying to maintain warm air that keeps escaping. In real use, this can reduce electricity usage by up to 60% in some cases, which can make a real difference to monthly bills.

Because it focuses on warming the person rather than the whole home, it creates comfort where it matters most while keeping energy use under control.

    Hybrid Heating Panel Range

If you’re exploring options beyond the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Heating Panel With Remote, it’s worth looking across our Hybrid IR And Convection Panels range.

For rooms where wall space is more limited, the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Vertical Heating Panel With Remote - 1000-1400W provides the same hybrid heating technology in a taller format. Its vertical design helps it fit neatly into narrower spaces while still delivering reliable warmth throughout the room.

Another option is the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Heating Panel With Thermostat - 600-1400W, which keeps the same efficient infrared and convection heating technology but replaces the remote with a built-in control on the unit. It suits people who prefer a more direct setup where temperature is adjusted manually while still enjoying comfortable, energy-conscious heating.

    Mirrorstone Warranty And Support

Every Mirrorstone heating panel from suryaheating.co.uk includes a 14 day refund and exchange period, starting from the day it arrives.

Alongside that, you get a 7 year manufacturer’s warranty. It’s there to back the product long term, so you can settle into steady, reliable heating without worrying about how it will hold up over time.

    • Our conservatory has always... 5

Posted by Valerie Sutcliffe on 16th May 2026

Our conservatory has always been a bit of a temperamental room temperature wise, swinging from uncomfortably warm on sunny winter afternoons to properly cold once the sun goes behind a cloud or sets for the evening, which is exactly why we chose the remote control version of this heater rather than the standard dial model when we finally decided to sort proper heating for the room. Being able to quickly adjust the target temperature via the remote as conditions change throughout the day has made an enormous difference to how comfortable and usable the conservatory now is, whereas previously we'd often just give up trying to get the dial exactly right and either overheat the room or leave it slightly too cool depending on how much effort we could be bothered putting in at any given moment. Ordered through the website after comparing the dial and remote options carefully, decided the extra cost for the remote was well justified given how variable this particular room's temperature needs are compared to the rest of the house. Delivery arrived within the stated timeframe in good condition, well packaged with clear instructions for both installation and pairing the remote to the unit, which took only a moment once we got round to it. My husband fitted the heater itself over a weekend, said the installation process was identical regardless of which control option we'd gone for, just the standard bracket kit and the usual wiring considerations any panel heater requires. The remote itself is simple and responsive, clear buttons and an easy to read display showing exactly what temperature we've dialled in, which has made managing this notoriously fickle room so much more straightforward than our previous dial based heater ever allowed. The open window detection feature has also proven genuinely useful given how often we have the conservatory windows cracked open on milder but still slightly chilly days for fresh air, the heater seems to sensibly reduce its output during these times rather than working overtime pointlessly heating air that's simply escaping outside, which must be helping keep our running costs more sensible than they might otherwise be. Since installing this heater we use the conservatory far more consistently throughout the entire year rather than just on the warmest days as we used to, since we can now quickly and precisely adjust the temperature to whatever the weather happens to be doing outside at any given moment. Overall an excellent purchase that has genuinely transformed how much use we get out of what used to be quite an unpredictable room in our house.

Bought this remote control heater for my den, which is really just a converted spare room where I keep all my gaming and hobby stuff, and the remote was an easy choice over the dial version given how often I'm sat in different spots depending on what I'm doing and didn't fancy getting up constantly to adjust a dial on the wall. Ordered online, simple process, delivery arrived within the stated timeframe in good condition. Fitted it myself, took about twenty five minutes with the bracket kit provided, straightforward installation regardless of which control option you choose. The remote itself is genuinely handy, simple buttons and a clear display showing the exact target temperature, and I've found myself actually adjusting it more often than I ever did with a dial simply because it's so much less hassle to do so from wherever I'm sitting. The open window detection has been a pleasant surprise too, I like to have the window cracked for fresh air during longer gaming sessions and the heater seems to sensibly scale back rather than waste energy heating air that's escaping outside. Really happy with this purchase overall, the remote control has genuinely changed how I interact with the heater day to day compared to previous dial based heaters I've owned in other rooms of the house.

    • My husband has recently dev... 5

Posted by Beryl Nightingale on 15th May 2026

My husband has recently developed quite significant arthritis in his hands, making everyday tasks that once seemed trivial, like adjusting a small dial on a wall mounted heater, considerably more painful and difficult for him than they used to be, which is precisely why we decided to replace our old dial heater in the living room with this remote control version rather than simply purchasing another identical dial model when the old one finally stopped working reliably. Being able to press a larger, easier button on the remote rather than having to grip and twist a small stiff dial has made a genuine and meaningful difference to my husband's daily comfort and his ability to manage the heating independently without needing to ask for my help every single time, which matters a great deal to his sense of dignity and independence given how much his condition has already changed about his daily life over the past couple of years. Ordered through the website together, comparing the options carefully given how important getting this right was for my husband's specific needs, and delivery arrived within the stated timeframe in good condition. Our son fitted the heater for us over a weekend visit, said the installation was entirely standard regardless of which control option we'd chosen, just the usual bracket kit and wiring any panel heater installation requires. The remote itself has genuinely large, easy to press buttons which my husband manages far more comfortably than he ever could with our old dial system, and the clear display means he can easily confirm the temperature setting without needing to squint or strain to read anything too small or fiddly given his eyesight isn't quite what it used to be either as an additional complication alongside his arthritis. The open window detection feature has also proven valuable, my husband likes fresh air but given his condition sometimes forgets or struggles to close a window promptly, and knowing the heater sensibly reduces its output rather than wastefully running at full power gives us both genuine peace of mind about our electricity costs, which matter more now that his condition has meant some adjustments to how much he's able to work. Overall this purchase has made a real and meaningful difference to my husband's daily independence and comfort, and I would strongly recommend the remote control version to anyone in a similar situation dealing with arthritis or other conditions that make small, fiddly dial adjustments genuinely painful or difficult to manage on a daily basis.
