Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Heating Panel With Remote - 600-1400W

    • Combines infrared and convection heating for comfortable, well-distributed warmth
    • Remote control makes it easy to adjust temperature and heating settings
    • Ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and flats
    • 600W–1400W options provide flexible heating for different room sizes
    • Slim frameless design offers a modern alternative to bulky traditional heaters

The Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Heating Panel With Remote fits into everyday spaces like bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and smaller flats where you want steady warmth without anything bulky taking over the room.

Available in a range of wattage options from 600W to 1400W, you can choose the heat output that best matches your space while enjoying the same blend of infrared and convection heating. It’s chosen by homeowners looking to modernise their heating, renters who need something practical and flexible, and landlords wanting a simple upgrade that adds real comfort to a property without disruption.

It works by blending infrared and convection heating, so warmth builds in the air while also spreading through the room’s surfaces. The result is a space that feels evenly heated rather than patchy or slow to respond.

The remote gives you simple, intuitive control over your heating without needing to reach the panel itself. With just a few buttons, you can switch the unit on or off, adjust the temperature, set timers, and choose different heat settings depending on how the room feels. It uses a reliable wireless connection, so it responds quickly from across the room, making it easy to fine-tune warmth without interrupting what you’re doing.

    Why Infrared Heating Saves Energy

Infrared heating works in a more direct way than traditional systems because it warms objects and surfaces in the room. That means you feel the heat sooner and more naturally, almost like standing in sunlight on a clear day where warmth settles on your skin and surroundings at the same time.

Because the heat goes straight to you and the things around you, comfort is achieved using far less wasted energy. In many cases it can use up to 60% less energy compared to convection heating while still delivering a similar level of warmth.

That lower energy demand also makes it a strong match for homes using solar panels, where efficient electricity use matters.

    Smarter Heating With Infrared

Instead of constantly heating and reheating the air in a cycle, infrared delivers radiant warmth that goes straight to people and objects. You feel it quickly and deeply, almost as if the heat is reaching you rather than filling the space around you first.

That shift in how heat is delivered means less wasted energy trying to maintain warm air that keeps escaping. In real use, this can reduce electricity usage by up to 60% in some cases, which can make a real difference to monthly bills.

Because it focuses on warming the person rather than the whole home, it creates comfort where it matters most while keeping energy use under control.

    Hybrid Heating Panel Range

If you’re exploring options beyond the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Heating Panel With Remote, it’s worth looking across our Hybrid IR And Convection Panels range.

For rooms where wall space is more limited, the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Vertical Heating Panel With Remote - 1000-1400W provides the same hybrid heating technology in a taller format. Its vertical design helps it fit neatly into narrower spaces while still delivering reliable warmth throughout the room.

Another option is the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Heating Panel With Thermostat - 600-1400W, which keeps the same efficient infrared and convection heating technology but replaces the remote with a built-in control on the unit. It suits people who prefer a more direct setup where temperature is adjusted manually while still enjoying comfortable, energy-conscious heating.

    Mirrorstone Warranty And Support

Every Mirrorstone heating panel from suryaheating.co.uk includes a 14 day refund and exchange period, starting from the day it arrives.

Alongside that, you get a 7 year manufacturer’s warranty. It’s there to back the product long term, so you can settle into steady, reliable heating without worrying about how it will hold up over time.

    • As someone who's always bee... 5

As someone who's always been a bit sceptical of unnecessary modern gadgets and gizmos, I initially resisted my wife's suggestion that we go for the remote control version of this heater rather than the simpler and cheaper dial model when replacing the heating in our living room, thinking it sounded like an unnecessary complication for something as straightforward as a room heater. Having now lived with it for the best part of a year, I have to concede my wife was entirely right to push for the remote version, and I've become something of a convert to its convenience despite my initial reservations about the whole idea. Being able to adjust the exact temperature from wherever I'm sitting, rather than having to interrupt whatever I'm doing to walk over and fiddle with a dial, has proven far more useful in daily practice than I gave it credit for beforehand. Ordered through the website after my wife did the necessary research comparing the different models available, and delivery arrived within the stated timeframe in good condition, everything needed for installation included in the box along with clear instructions for pairing the remote to the unit itself. I fitted the heater myself over a weekend, found the process straightforward and no different really to any other panel heater I've installed previously in various rooms of our house over the years. The remote itself is simple and sensible to operate, none of the unnecessary complexity I'd feared beforehand, just clear buttons and a display showing the target temperature you've set, which has actually made the whole experience of using a heater feel more precise and controlled than the guesswork I was used to with a standard dial system in other rooms of the house. The open window detection feature has been a particularly pleasant surprise given my general scepticism about such things, my wife likes to have the window cracked open for fresh air regularly, and the heater does seem to sensibly recognise this and reduce its output accordingly rather than continuing to waste energy heating the outside world, which even a sceptic like myself has to admit is a genuinely clever and useful bit of technology rather than an unnecessary gimmick. Build quality throughout feels excellent, properly engineered rather than cheaply put together, which has further reassured me that this wasn't simply an unnecessary expense for the sake of having something more modern. Overall I'm happy to admit I was wrong to be sceptical, and would now recommend the remote control version to anyone considering this heater, even those like myself who generally prefer to keep things simple rather than chasing unnecessary modern conveniences.

We bought this remote control heater for our living room after moving to a new rental property that came without any existing heating solution beyond central heating which we found insufficient for our particular needs during the coldest months of the year here in the United Kingdom, quite different from the climate we were previously accustomed to before relocating here for work several years ago. Chose remote control version over standard dial mainly because we appreciated the precise target temperature feature which seemed more sophisticated than the basic dial systems we had encountered in previous rental accommodations during our time living in this country since our arrival. Ordering process through website was straightforward despite English not being first language for either myself or my husband, website was clear enough that we had no significant difficulty completing the purchase successfully. Delivery arrived within stated timeframe in good condition, everything needed for installation included with instructions that were reasonably clear though we did need to read through carefully a few times to ensure correct understanding of certain technical terms used throughout. Installation was completed by my husband, took approximately forty minutes including some additional time working through instructions carefully given neither of us wanted to make mistakes with electrical installation in rental property we do not own ourselves. Once properly set up however, performance has been very good, heater warms room quickly and remote control makes daily temperature adjustment considerably more convenient than fumbling with unfamiliar dial systems we experienced in previous rental accommodation before this current property. Open window detection feature has proven genuinely useful, we like fresh air regularly and heater seems to sensibly reduce output during these periods rather than wasting energy unnecessarily, which matters considerably to us as we try to manage costs carefully while adjusting financially to cost of living here compared to what we were previously accustomed to before relocating. Overall despite initial pairing difficulty, we remain satisfied with this purchase and would recommend to other international residents here, just perhaps allow extra time for initial remote setup process if English is not your first language, as some technical terminology may require additional clarification.
