Needed something to heat up...
Needed something to heat up my home gym which is in what used to be our garage, converted a couple of years back but never properly sorted the heating in there beyond a small fan heater that honestly did next to nothing and just made a racket while doing it. Went with this infrared panel after reading up on the difference between infrared and normal convection heaters, liked the idea of getting direct warmth rather than just circulating hot air around a space thats not particularly well insulated. Ordering online was simple, no issues, and it arrived within the stated delivery window in good condition. Fitting it was straightforward, took about 30 minutes with the included bracket kit, mounted it up high on one wall so it doesnt interfere with any of my equipment. Switched it on for the first time and within a couple of minutes i could feel proper warmth coming off it, genuinely surprised how quick it was compared to what i was expecting. Ive been using the gym most mornings before work for the past six weeks or so and its made a massive difference, no more shivering through the warm up before actually getting going. The room does warm up as a whole too after 15 to 20 minutes, not just directly in front of the panel which is what i was worried about before buying. Quality feels really solid, definitely not one of the cheaper feeling panels ive seen when comparing options online before deciding on this one. Dial thermostat is simple and does exactly what you want without any fuss. Only very minor thing is i wish the cable was slightly longer for where my socket is positioned but thats a small thing in the grand scheme and easily sorted with an extension lead anyway. Overall really pleased with this, its turned my gym from somewhere i dreaded going in winter to somewhere i actually look forward to now. Would recommend to anyone with a similar unheated space they want to make more usable through the colder months.

Right, where do I start with this heater. Bought it for my home office which is basically a converted box room and gets absolutely freezing in the winter because it's on the north side of the house and only has a tiny radiator that barely does anything. Working from home most days meant I was sat there in a coat for a good chunk of the year which obviously wasnt ideal. Did some research online and this one kept coming up as one of the better built infrared panels compared to some of the cheaper ones ive seen on other sites that look a bit flimsy if im honest. Ordered it on the website, process was quick and easy, no issues at all. It turned up four days later well packaged. Getting it mounted was simple enough, took about 25 minutes on my own with the bracket kit that came with it, didnt need any extra tools or fixings. Wired it in and switched it on and within a few minutes i could feel the heat coming straight off the panel, and after about ten to fifteen minutes the whole room had warmed up nicely, way quicker than the little radiator ever managed. Ive had it running most working days for the past two months now and its been brilliant, no issues with the thermostat dial or anything like that, does exactly what it says. The room actually feels comfortable to work in now rather than something i have to force myself through wrapped up in layers. My other half has noticed the difference too, keeps saying she might want one for her side of the house as well now shes seen how well this one works. One thing i really like is how quiet it is, no humming or clicking that you sometimes get with other heaters, just silent heat which is exactly what you want when youre trying to concentrate on work all day. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone else working from a cold room, its made a genuine difference to my day to day and i dont think id go back to just relying on the radiator now.
