The open window detection feature has been handy too given I often have the garage door partially open for ventilation when using certain tools or paints, and the heater seems to sensibly account for this rather than wasting energy pointlessly. Would recommend this to other garage owners with a similar door mechanism setup, just budget in extra time for the installation and measure very carefully around any moving parts before committing to a final position for this narrow vertical panel.
