Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Vertical Heating Panel With Remote - 1000-1400W

    • Slim vertical design makes the most of narrow wall spaces
    • Infrared and convection heating work together for balanced room warmth
    • Ideal for hallways, bathrooms, home offices and compact living spaces
    • 1000W–1400W outputs provide powerful heating for larger spaces
    • Remote control makes adjusting your heating quick and convenient

By combining infrared and convection heating, the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Vertical Heating Panel With Remote creates a balanced warmth that reaches every corner of the room. Available in a choice of wattage options, this panel allows you to select the heat output that best suits your space while delivering the same combination of direct infrared warmth and efficient convection heating.

The infrared element gently heats people and surfaces directly, helping you feel comfortable faster, while the convection system circulates warm air to maintain a consistent temperature long after the panel has reached its target setting.

Designed with everyday living in mind, it operates quietly and helps reduce dust circulation compared to traditional heating methods, creating a cleaner, more pleasant environment for your home. The included remote control makes it easy to adjust temperatures and settings from wherever you are in the room, giving you complete control over your comfort.

Its slim vertical design looks at home in modern interiors, while the IP24 rating adds an extra layer of versatility. Protected against solid objects and water splashes, it can be installed in bathrooms with the correct electrical installation, bringing dependable warmth to spaces that are often overlooked.

    Feel The Difference With Infrared

Infrared heating feels different to traditional heating because it warms people, furniture, and surfaces directly, the result is a warmth you feel sooner and more naturally, similar to the gentle heat of the sun on a warm summer's day.

Because the heat is delivered directly where it’s needed, you can stay comfortable without needing to raise the room temperature. That means less energy is required to create the same cosy feeling.

The savings can be significant too, with infrared heating capable of using up to 60% less energy than traditional convection heating in the right environment. It’s a smart choice for anyone looking to reduce running costs without compromising on comfort.

    Energy Efficient Infrared Heating

All electric heating is considered 100% efficient, and infrared heating uses energy in a way that can help reduce running costs.

Infrared heating works by delivering radiant warmth directly to people and surfaces rather than relying on heating the surrounding air. This means comfort is felt more quickly and with less energy wasted on maintaining the temperature of the entire space.

Because warmth is experienced more directly, comfortable conditions can often be maintained using less energy overall. In the right conditions, this approach can lead to savings of up to 60% on energy use.

Over time, those savings can make a real difference. Whether you're heating a single room every day or looking for a more efficient way to warm your home, infrared heating offers a smarter route to comfort that can help reduce household running costs.

    • Remote control and vertical... 5

Remote control and vertical design, perfect combo for our really tight bathroom wall space.

    • Needed a solution for the n... 4

Posted by Horace Beaumont on 29th Jul 2026

Needed a solution for the narrow gap in our garage between the up and over door mechanism and the side wall, a spot I'd been trying to figure out how to heat properly for a couple of years now given how much time I spend out there tinkering with my motorbike at weekends. Standard panels were a non starter given the width available, but this vertical remote control option looked like it might just work after some careful measuring. Ordered online, the process itself was fine, no complaints there, and delivery arrived within the stated window. Installing it required a bit more trial and error than I expected though, mainly because the door mechanism needs a certain amount of clearance when operating and I had to be quite precise about the exact height and positioning to make sure nothing would catch or rub when the door opened and closed, which took longer than the straightforward job I was expecting, ended up being closer to an hour and a half by the time everything was perfectly positioned. This is really the main reason for four stars rather than five, not a fault with the heater itself but more that garages with up and over doors specifically might need extra planning and measuring compared to a straightforward wall installation. Once it was properly fitted though, performance has been genuinely excellent, went with the 1400w version given the garage isn't insulated at all being an older structure. Since having it running I can actually spend proper time out there working on the bike without my hands getting too cold to handle small tools and fiddly parts, which was becoming a real problem previously. The remote control works smoothly and reliably once set up, and being able to adjust the temperature without reaching into that tight gap near the moving door mechanism has been a genuine safety benefit I hadn't fully considered before buying. The open window detection feature has been handy too given I often have the garage door partially open for ventilation when using certain tools or paints, and the heater seems to sensibly account for this rather than wasting energy pointlessly. Would recommend this to other garage owners with a similar door mechanism setup, just budget in extra time for the installation and measure very carefully around any moving parts before committing to a final position for this narrow vertical panel.

    • Bought this remote control... 4

Posted by Sidney Boothman on 22nd Jul 2026

Bought this remote control heater for my allotment cabin, a small structure I use as a base during the growing season and increasingly through the colder months too now that I've retired and have more time for my vegetables. The cabin has very limited wall space once you account for tools, pots and shelving, so a standard heater was never going to fit properly in the one narrow gap I had available near the door. Chose this vertical remote control version specifically because the narrow footprint solved my space problem, and the remote meant I could adjust things without stopping to wash soil off my hands first, whereas keeping the remote in a dedicated cleaner spot solves that problem entirely. Ordering through the website was straightforward, and delivery arrived within the stated timeframe in good condition despite the slightly out of the way delivery address given my allotment's location. Installation was completed by myself, took about forty minutes including finding the best position given the fairly limited wall space in a cabin already cluttered with gardening supplies accumulated over many years. The open window detection feature has proven genuinely useful given how often I prop the cabin door or small window open for ventilation when using certain composts or treatments, and the heater does sensibly reduce its output during these times rather than wastefully running at full power heating an area that's not properly sealed against the outside elements. Went with the 1000w version given the modest cabin size. Build quality of the heater unit itself feels robust and well suited to this kind of semi outdoor hobby use, definitely built to handle more general wear than a heater destined purely for a pristine indoor living space might need to tolerate. Overall despite the minor dust sensitivity issue with the remote, I'm still very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to fellow allotment holders dealing with a similarly narrow available space, just be prepared to give the remote an occasional clean to keep it working at its best in a dustier environment than most.
