This warranty applies to consumer purchases made online or over the phone.
Nothing in this warranty affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
Surya IR Heating Systems provides a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty on eligible infrared heating panels, starting from the date you receive your order.
For Mirrorstone-branded infrared heaters, this warranty can be extended to 5 years at no additional cost by completing the extended warranty registration form within 90 days of purchase.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers manufacturing faults and component failures that occur when the product is:
- used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
- installed and operated as intended
If a covered fault occurs during the warranty period, the product may need to be returned to us for inspection and testing.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will provide a repair or replacement, in line with this warranty and your statutory rights.
Inspection & Assessment
Returned products may be inspected to confirm the nature of the fault.
In assessing warranty claims, we may take into account:
- the condition of the product upon return
- evidence of normal use
Inspection is used to confirm eligibility under the warranty and does not remove or limit your statutory rights.
Where an item is returned under warranty and no fault is found following inspection, we reserve the right to return the item to the customer and charge reasonable return postage.
Replacement Products & Warranty Period
Where a product is replaced under this warranty or as a remedy under your statutory rights, the replacement product will inherit the remaining balance of the original warranty period, starting from the date the original product was first received.
A replacement product does not start a new warranty period.
This applies whether the replacement is new, refurbished, or equivalent in specification.
This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Return Of Warranty Items
Where a product needs to be returned for inspection:
- the customer is responsible for ensuring the item is packaged securely
- we recommend using a tracked and insured service
If a product is damaged during return transit and the return was arranged by the customer, we may be unable to proceed with a warranty repair or replacement.
Where we arrange the return, transit risk remains with us.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover faults or damage resulting from:
- misuse or abnormal use
- failure to follow installation or operating instructions
- unauthorised repairs or alterations
- modifications such as rewiring, dismantling or cutting cables (removing the plug will not void your warranty)
- accidental damage after delivery
Exclusions apply only where the above factors are the cause of the fault.
Extended Warranty Terms
The extended 5-year warranty is available only on Mirrorstone-branded infrared heaters.
The extended warranty does not apply to:
- non-Mirrorstone branded heaters
- accessories
- thermostats
Extended warranty registration must be completed within 90 days of purchase and is subject to product eligibility and validation.

Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Under the Act:
- goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described
- faults that occur within the first six months are presumed to have been present at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise
- remedies may include repair, replacement, refund or price reduction depending on the circumstances
Nothing in this warranty limits or replaces these rights.
