I run a small beauty salon from a converted outbuilding at home and heating it properly has always been a challenge, especially for clients who are lying down for treatments and feel the cold much more than if they were up and moving around. Previous heater we had was adequate at best and clients would often ask if it could be turned up, which usually just meant it took even longer to get the room properly warm. Switched to this infrared panel after a fellow salon owner recommended looking into infrared as an option for exactly this kind of situation. Ordered a couple of them for the salon through the website, process was simple and delivery arrived within the stated timeframe, both units in perfect condition. Had them installed by an electrician friend who also does a bit of general handywork, took him about an hour and a half to fit both including running things properly rather than just plugging in, which I'd recommend given its a commercial setting with clients in and out all day. Difference has been remarkable honestly, clients regularly comment now on how warm and comfortable the treatment rooms feel, quite the opposite of before when it was something they'd ask about rather than compliment. The direct infrared heat is perfect for someone lying still on a treatment couch as they get consistent warmth rather than relying purely on the room's ambient temperature which can vary depending on how many people have been in and out that day. Running costs have also been better than I expected, definitely not seeing the spike in electricity bills I was slightly worried about beforehand. The dial thermostats are simple enough that my staff have no issues adjusting them between clients if needed. Would absolutely recommend these to any other small business owners dealing with a similar heating challenge in a converted space, made a genuine difference to client comfort and by extension how the salon is perceived, which matters more than people realise in this line of work.

Cracking bit of kit this. Was a bit sceptical about infrared heaters if I'm honest, thought it might be a bit of a gimmick, but this has properly changed my mind about the whole thing. Heats the room up quick and you can genuinely feel the direct warmth coming off it which is different to a normal heater, more like standing near a patio heater outside a pub than a standard radiator. Ordered online, no fuss, arrived within a few days well packaged with everything I needed in the box. Fitting it to the wall was easy enough with the brackets that came with it, took me about twenty minutes on my own on a Sunday afternoon. Been running it most nights for the past couple of months through the cold snap and it's been faultless, holds the temperature well and doesn't seem to be costing me the earth to run either compared to what I was expecting based on some of the horror stories you hear about electric heating bills. Very impressed overall and would recommend to anyone thinking about getting one, especially if like me you were a bit doubtful about infrared as a concept beforehand.

Bought two of these panels for our static caravan which we use most weekends throughout the year, including through winter when the electric heaters that came with it just werent cutting it, especially on the really cold nights. Needed something reliable that wouldnt cost a fortune to run given were only there part time. Would recommend these to anyone else with a caravan or similar smaller space that needs heating sorted properly without breaking the bank on running costs, made a real difference to how much we actually use ours through the winter now instead of it just sitting empty until spring.
