    • Vertical design saves valuable wall space without compromising on heating performance
    • Infrared and convection technology work together for comfortable, even warmth
    • Ideal for hallways, home offices, living rooms and bathrooms
    • 1000W–1400W outputs provide powerful heating for larger spaces

By combining infrared and convection technology, the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Vertical Heating Panel With Thermostat creates a more balanced and enjoyable warmth throughout your space. Available in a choice of wattage options from 1000W to 1400W, you can select the heat output that best suits your room while enjoying the same efficient blend of heating technologies. The infrared element gently heats people, furniture and surfaces directly, while the convection function circulates warm air around the room, helping to maintain a comfortable and consistent temperature that feels natural from corner to corner.

Its sleek vertical design offers a practical alternative to standard horizontal heaters, making it ideal for hallways, living rooms, home offices and other spaces where wall space is at a premium. The contemporary finish blends effortlessly into modern and traditional interiors alike, adding warmth without compromising the look of your room.

Built with an IP24 rating, it's protected against splashes of water, making it suitable for use in bathrooms with the correct electrical installation.

With near-silent operation and reduced dust circulation, it helps create a cleaner, more comfortable environment you'll enjoy spending time in every day.

    Efficient Infrared Room Heating

Infrared heating works by warming people, furniture and surfaces directly instead of spending energy heating the air first. This creates a natural, gentle warmth that feels similar to sunshine on your skin, without any harmful UV rays.

Because the heat is absorbed by objects throughout the room, warmth is retained more effectively and released gradually over time. This helps the room feel comfortable for longer whilst reducing the amount of energy needed to maintain your ideal temperature.

With less reliance on moving large volumes of air, infrared heating can also help reduce dust circulation and create a cleaner, fresher atmosphere. The result is an efficient heating solution that delivers reliable comfort whilst offering the potential to reduce heating costs by up to 60% compared to traditional heating systems.

    Lower Bills with Infrared Heat

One of the biggest reasons people switch to infrared heating is the potential to significantly reduce running costs without sacrificing comfort.

Infrared heating transfers warmth directly to people, furniture and surfaces, meaning less energy is wasted heating empty air. Because surfaces retain heat more effectively, rooms can stay comfortable using less power overall.

This more targeted way of heating is what makes infrared so efficient. By focusing energy where it's actually needed, infrared panels can use up to 60% less energy than equivalent electric convection heaters.

Bought this for the narrow wall space in our bedroom between the wardrobe and the window, an area that's always been a bit of a dead zone as nothing else would fit there properly. This vertical panel slots in perfectly and has made a real difference to how warm the bedroom feels of an evening. Ordering was simple through the website and delivery arrived within the stated timeframe. The only slight issue I had was with the instructions for the wall fixings, which weren't overly clear about which fixing to use for a stud wall versus solid wall, and our bedroom wall is a mix of both which caused a bit of head scratching before we worked it out ourselves. Once it was up though, no complaints at all, heats the room up nicely and the dial thermostat is simple to use. My husband fitted it over a weekend, took him about forty minutes in total including the extra time working out the fixings. Would still recommend this to others, just perhaps have a read of a few installation guides online first if you're not sure what type of wall you're dealing with, would have made things a bit smoother for us.

    • Needed a solution for the n... 4

Posted by Owen Blakeley on 15th Jul 2026

Needed a solution for the narrow gap in our garage between the up and over door mechanism and the side wall, a spot I'd been trying to figure out how to heat properly for a couple of years now given how much time I spend out there tinkering with my motorbike at weekends. Standard panels were a non starter given the width available, barely more than a foot of usable space once you account for the door mechanism's clearance requirements. This vertical option looked like it might just work after some careful measuring, so I decided to give it a go despite some initial reservations about whether it would actually clear everything properly. Ordered online, the process itself was fine, no complaints there, and delivery arrived within the stated window. Installing it required a bit more trial and error than I expected though, mainly because the door mechanism needs a certain amount of clearance when operating and I had to be quite precise about the exact height and positioning to make sure nothing would catch or rub when the door opened and closed, which took longer than the straightforward thirty minute job I was expecting, ended up being closer to an hour and a half by the time I'd got everything perfectly positioned and double checked the door still operated freely. This is really the main reason for four stars rather than five, not a fault with the heater itself but more that garages with up and over doors specifically might need a bit of extra planning and measuring compared to a straightforward wall installation in a normal room. Once it was properly fitted though, performance has been genuinely excellent, went with the 1400w version given the garage isn't insulated at all being an older structure. Since having it running I can actually spend proper time out there working on the bike without my hands getting too cold to handle small tools and fiddly parts, which was becoming a real problem during the colder months previously. The dial thermostat works smoothly and reliably. Would recommend this to other garage owners with a similar door mechanism setup, just budget in extra time for the installation and measure very carefully around any moving parts before committing to a final position.
