By combining infrared and convection technology, the Mirrorstone Air Infrared + Convection Vertical Heating Panel With Thermostat creates a more balanced and enjoyable warmth throughout your space. Available in a choice of wattage options from 1000W to 1400W, you can select the heat output that best suits your room while enjoying the same efficient blend of heating technologies. The infrared element gently heats people, furniture and surfaces directly, while the convection function circulates warm air around the room, helping to maintain a comfortable and consistent temperature that feels natural from corner to corner.
Its sleek vertical design offers a practical alternative to standard horizontal heaters, making it ideal for hallways, living rooms, home offices and other spaces where wall space is at a premium. The contemporary finish blends effortlessly into modern and traditional interiors alike, adding warmth without compromising the look of your room.
Built with an IP24 rating, it's protected against splashes of water, making it suitable for use in bathrooms with the correct electrical installation.
With near-silent operation and reduced dust circulation, it helps create a cleaner, more comfortable environment you'll enjoy spending time in every day.
Infrared heating works by warming people, furniture and surfaces directly instead of spending energy heating the air first. This creates a natural, gentle warmth that feels similar to sunshine on your skin, without any harmful UV rays.
Because the heat is absorbed by objects throughout the room, warmth is retained more effectively and released gradually over time. This helps the room feel comfortable for longer whilst reducing the amount of energy needed to maintain your ideal temperature.
With less reliance on moving large volumes of air, infrared heating can also help reduce dust circulation and create a cleaner, fresher atmosphere. The result is an efficient heating solution that delivers reliable comfort whilst offering the potential to reduce heating costs by up to 60% compared to traditional heating systems.
One of the biggest reasons people switch to infrared heating is the potential to significantly reduce running costs without sacrificing comfort.
Infrared heating transfers warmth directly to people, furniture and surfaces, meaning less energy is wasted heating empty air. Because surfaces retain heat more effectively, rooms can stay comfortable using less power overall.
This more targeted way of heating is what makes infrared so efficient. By focusing energy where it's actually needed, infrared panels can use up to 60% less energy than equivalent electric convection heaters.

We converted our garage into a small annexe for my son who's just gone to university nearby but still needed somewhere to stay during holidays, and heating was the last thing to sort before he moved his stuff in properly. The space is quite narrow along one wall due to where the old garage door used to be, so this vertical panel was ideal, fits perfectly where a standard square one just wouldn't have worked. Ordered the 1400w version online given it's a decent sized room, arrived within a few days in good condition. My husband fitted it himself over a weekend, said it wasn't too tricky although the narrower shape did mean being extra careful about getting it perfectly level. Since having it running the annexe warms up quickly and holds the heat well, my son has said it's actually cosier than his room in halls was which is a nice bonus. Dial thermostat is simple enough that he has no trouble adjusting it himself. Really pleased with how this has turned out, definitely made the annexe feel like a proper comfortable space rather than just a converted garage that happens to have a bed in it.
Excellent quality, slim design fits our narrow wall space perfectly, very happy with it.
We bought this heater for the narrow strip of wall in our conservatory between two sets of French doors, an area that's always been a bit of a dead zone temperature wise given how much glass surrounds it on almost every side, letting heat escape almost as quickly as it builds up. Standard panels simply wouldn't have fitted in that narrow gap without looking completely out of proportion, so this vertical version seemed like the ideal solution once I'd measured everything up properly. Ordered online, the process itself was straightforward and delivery arrived within the timeframe stated on the website, which I always find reassuring when ordering something that needs to fit a specific measured space. Installation was mostly straightforward, my husband fitted it over a weekend, though we did encounter a small hiccup when we realised one of the fixing screws included didn't quite match up with the wall type in that particular section, which turned out to be a slightly different material to the rest of the conservatory wall for reasons we've never quite understood about how it was originally built. Had to make a quick trip to the hardware shop for an alternative fixing, which is the main reason for four stars rather than five, a minor inconvenience but one that added an unexpected hour or so to what should have been a quick job. Once it was properly fixed in place though, performance has been excellent, went with the 1000w version given the conservatory, while large in floor space, has that particular gap being a fairly small section to heat directly. Since having it running that previously cold zone between the doors feels noticeably more comfortable, no longer that horrible draught you'd feel walking between the two sets of doors during colder months. The dial thermostat works smoothly once set up, and the overall build quality feels solid and well made. Would still recommend this to others with a similarly awkward glass surrounded space, just perhaps double check what wall fixings you might need in advance if your walls aren't entirely uniform like ours turned out not to be.
