How Does IR Heating Work?

Forget everything you know about traditional convection heater. An IR Heater operates very differently to a radiator. Radiators heat water inside them, which in turn heats and circulates the air around them. This warms up objects that are near this circulating air.

This is very inefficient, because you’ll inevitably end up warming the same air over and over again as it follows the cycle of warming, rising, cooling and sinking.

IR heaters are so efficient because they heat objects directly through harmless infrared radiation, similar to how the sun warms you up- but without any harmful UV radiation to worry about. This also makes them very efficient

Easy Installation

This ease of use is apparent right from installation. Thanks to that sturdy build quality, anyone can install this panel right out of the box- no expert electrician is required!

All you have to do is drill through the holes on the stencil provided, and insert the wall plugs into the holes. Then you insert the screws into those wall plugs. Rest the panel into the screws using the two rear mounting brackets. Then all that’s left is to plug your panel into the mains.

Forget manual measuring and complicated maths, installing your new panels is a breeze! All in, each panel should take no longer than 30-40 minutes.

You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you’ll have complete control in your pocket.

You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.

Keep Things Simple With A Remote

Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.
